Fruity Smoothie

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Inspired by Jamba Juice’s Mega Mango, this smoothie recipe is not only tasty but also healthy!

Added sweeteners? We don’t know her. Fruits, and only fruits, used here.

Ingredients

Orange juice – I prefer freshly squeezed. Store bought orange juice usually has added sugars and loses a lot of its flavor during the pasteurization process.

Frozen fruit – for smoothies it’s ideal to have all the fruits you’ll using to be frozen. It gives the smoothie that nice slushy texture without having to use ice cubes, which just end up watering down the flavor. You can buy prepackaged frozen fruit from your local grocery store or just cut up and freeze your own.

Make this for breakfast or have it as a healthy dessert alternative. Any time of the day is good for a smoothie!
