An easy guacamole recipe to go along with your favorite tortilla chips or Mexican dish!
Guacamole is one of my favorite dips. It’s so simple yet so flavorful.
Ingredients
Avocados – the main ingredient! Also a great source of protein and is made up of healthy fats.
Red onion – is milder and sweeter than yellow onions.
Jalapeño – adds spice and flavor. This is optional.
Cilantro – a staple ingredient and the perfect herb for guacamole.
Lime juice – adds the perfect amount of acidity and freshness to tame the richness of the avocado.
Sometimes I like to add tomatoes, jalapeno, green chilies, etc. for some added yumminess, but this is my go to for just a simple guacamole that you can make in 5 minutes.
